CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary showed off adoptable dogs with other local shelters and raised thousands of dollars to support their animals with a silent auction on Sunday.
Despite a little rain, the fourth Annual Animals, Art and Automobiles fundraiser went on. Mike Gibbons, the Director of Development at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, says the online silent auction was still a success.
“We were able to start it online and open it up about a week early, so that’s helped a lot with people who aren’t able to come out or because of the rain and whatnot, so that you still bid on things. So that was a that was a great plus,” Gibbons says…
