Charleston Police arrest 3 in series of car break-ins

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Charleston Police Department says three suspects are facing several charges in connection with a series of car break-ins Thursday night.

Jalen Rahmond Ellis, 25, of North Charleston, is charged with three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle, two counts of tampering with a vehicle, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The teens, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, whose names were not released because of their ages, are charged with three counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and two counts of tampering with a motor vehicle, according to Sgt. Chris Stinson…
