CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Under a plan approved Monday, South Carolina students attending the College of Charleston won’t see a tuition increase next year.
The college’s Board of Trustees voted June 2 to freeze tuition for in-state students for the 2025-2026 academic year, holding costs steady for the sixth consecutive year. That means full-time, undergraduate students will pay $6,259 in tuition per semester starting in the fall.
“The Board’s vote underscores our institution’s unwavering commitment to both access and excellence,” said College of Charleston President Andrew Hsu. “By keeping tuition steady for South Carolina residents for a sixth straight year, we are honoring our promise to provide a top-tier education that is not only respected nationwide but also affordable for families across our state.”…
