NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Police in North Charleston are investigating after a senior citizen was reportedly the victim of a snatch and grab robbery Tuesday.
A police report states officers were called to 7555 Northwoods Blvd. in reference to a robbery. The 83-year-old victim told police that while he was sitting in his vehicle outside of the business a man approached his vehicle asking for money.
The suspect reportedly told the victim he needed gas and had a long drive to make. The report states the suspect noticed the money clip in the victim’s pocket and opened the vehicle door, took the money clip holding around $200, and fled…
