Man arrested in alleged ‘Peeping Tom’ incident at Mount Pleasant tobacco shop

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) — A 29-year-old man accused of taking inappropriate videos of women at the Mount Pleasant business where he worked is now facing charges, according to police.

A report from the Mount Pleasant Police Department states that officers responded to Smoker Friendly on Ben Sawyer Boulevard on May 31, where a woman reported that a man used his phone to take a video up her skirt while she was shopping.

The woman told police that she demanded the man — later identified as Giovani Reyes-Lopez — delete the video, and he handed over his phone, according to the report…
