Charleston County leaders discuss use of $9M in funds after Airbnb lawsuit

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Charleston County leaders are finding ways to use extra funds after their participation in a lawsuit against the vacation rental company Airbnb.

Charleston County received just under $9.5 million in settlement funds from the lawsuit earlier this year. The lawsuit stemmed from unpaid short-term rental fees.
