1 dead, 1 arrested after argument escalates into shooting in South Carolina’s Lowcountry

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Charleston police are investigating after they say an argument between two relatives turned deadly on James Island over the weekend.

Officers responded to the intersection of Ferguson Road and Danny Street shortly before 8 p.m. on June 8 for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a dead person with an apparent gunshot wound.
