CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Showers taper off by dinner time with a few stray showers possible during the overnight hours. Mostly cloudy conditions this evening with lows in the mid 70s and calm winds.
Fewer storms are expected beginning Sunday as we transition out of the very wet pattern we were in for most of this week. Still a few showers and storms can’t be ruled out by the afternoon with highs in the low 90s. There remains a Moderate Risk of rip currents at the beaches tomorrow.
As we look ahead to next week, even hotter weather is on the way with highs climbing into the mid 90s by Tuesday with heat index values over 100°…
