Firefighters respond to early morning blaze at Captain D’s on Savannah Highway

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Captain D’s restaurant on Savannah Highway caught fire early Wednesday morning, according to the St. Andrews Fire Department.

Crews with the fire department were dispatched to the location at 2:10 a.m. after receiving a call for the reported structure fire.

The source of the fire was determined to be in an air conditioner unit on the roof and it was quickly extinguished after the power was secured…
