MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Moncks Corner town officials announced Saturday the death of a beloved assistant fire chief.
Assistant Fire Chief Donald E. Wilkins, who dedicated more than five decades to fire service, died peacefully “after a lifetime of selfless service to his community, the fire service, and the state of South Carolina,” according to the town.
