CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The National Hurricane Center has increased the projected chance that an area of low pressure could develop into a tropical depression over the southeast coastline.
As of 8 p.m. Tuesday, there is a 40% chance that the low pressure system could form into a tropical or subtropical depression within seven days. That’s up from 20% on Tuesday morning.
That could mean a depression forms over the weekend or early next week…
