CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A plan to remove 24 protected trees on Daniel Island is moving forward, despite strong opposition from residents and community leaders.
Charleston’s Board of Zoning Appeals voted 4–1 Tuesday night to approve a variance request from Holder Properties, clearing the way for the next phase of its Nowell Creek Village townhome development.
