BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — A Goose Creek man is facing dozens of charges after authorities said they found more than 30 dogs living in “deplorable and unsanitary conditions” on his property.
Loney Leroy Garrett, 77, was arrested July 2 and charged with 35 counts of ill treatment of animals, 35 counts of no rabies inoculations, and four counts of improper burial.
Deputies responded on June 22 to a residence on Garretts Court following an investigation into possible animal cruelty.
