BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A man cited for illegal grilling at a Berkeley County boat landing was then arrested on a federal ICE warrant, according to deputies.
Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office were patrolling a boat landing off Ranger Drive in the Cross community on June 28 when they observed several vehicles that had been previously warned at the Hatchery Boat Landing for attempting to bring charcoal grills onto the beach, which violates a county ordinance.
