Beach Forecast, weekend of Fourth of July – Know B4 You Go

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Are you heading to the beach this weekend? Our Storm Tracker Team of meteorologists has a special forecast just for the Charleston area’s beaches!

FOURTH OF JULY FORECAST: After a few thundershowers today, it’s looking to stay dry for all the fireworks shows across the Lowcountry tonight. The weekend forecast will be dependent on the low off the SE coast. The NHC is giving it a high chance of subtropical or tropical development, but impacts will remain the same either way. Hurricane Hunters are flying into the system right now and will shed more light on the low. Right now, it looks like the system will move north through the weekend. A more northwesterly track would bring more rain onshore, while a more northeasterly track would mean less…..
