Residents urged to keep pets indoors as pack of coyotes reported roaming James Island

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) — The Town of James Island released a coyote alert Wednesday after a pack of coyotes was reported near the DNR and Fort Johnson Estates.

According to the town there were at least seven coyotes seen roaming at night, and residents are advised to bring in all pets and pet food from outside during the evening hours.

Pets who need to go outside should be supervised at all times to prevent incident…
