Venezuelan gang members arrested by SPD, 1 faces multiple murder charges in Chicago

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — Three men accused of being part of a Venezuela-based gang known as Tren de Aragua were arrested by Summerville police for shoplifting in late February. Authorities now believe that one of the men nabbed in Summerville was connected to a late-January double homicide in Chicago.

Edison Alejandro Ramiro Munoz, Alejandro J. Miranda Rodriguez and Yosveni Miched Parra Quinonez allegedly shoplifted at the Palmetto State Armory on 366 East Fifth North Street on Feb. 27, Deputy Chief Christopher Hirsch said.

United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with Homeland Security Investigations, looked into the three men and their backgrounds following their detainment by the Summerville Police Department…
