Summerville town council approves new encampment ordinance

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — The Summerville Town Council unanimously approved a new ordinance that now prohibits camping on private property.

This now raises issues for one local nonprofit, Keys to Change, a group that works to provide temporary housing and resources to those in Dorchester County who may be experiencing homelessness.
