NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department launched its new app, Crimewatch.
Officials expressed that the app is now the easiest and most accessible way to receive the latest updates from the department. For example, recently, officers used it to send out alerts about a closure on the Don Holt bridge on July 12. Residents can download it on their smartphones or tablets, or access it through NCPD’s website.
“We can communicate directly with the community. They can communicate with us anonymously directly.
