70-year-old identified as victim in hit-and-run on Paul Cantrell Blvd

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Charleston County Coroner has identified the man killed in a hit-and-run collision on July 11.

Oliver Krauth, a 70-year-old, wheelchair bound male from Charleston was identified as the deceased.

According to the Charleston Police Department, Krauth was attempting to cross Paul Cantrell Boulevard at the intersection with Henry Tecklenburg Drive at approximately 9 p.m. on July 11, when he was hit by a vehicle on the roadway…
