CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A large first responder presence was seen at Charleston International Airport on Friday night following a reported incident between two aircrafts.
A spokesperson for Breeze Airways told counton2.com that flight MX509, an airbus from Las Vegas to Norfolk, Virginia, was diverted to Charleston around 9:30 p.m. due to thunderstorms in Virginia.
The spokesperson said the plane had landed safely at Charleston Airport, parked, and was awaiting fuel before continuing its trip when the aircraft’s tail was struck by another plane while it was taxiing…
