Man accused of assaulting store clerk, robbing grocery store with knife

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A Charleston County man who allegedly robbed two stores on the same day was arrested Thursday.

35-year-old Rashad Brown is charged with strong-armed robbery and assault and battery in the 2nd degree.

A spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department said Brown was at the Sunoco on Rivers Avenue when he shoved the clerk to the ground and fled with stolen items. The assaulted cashier had to undergo surgery for injuries sustained in the attack…
