CHARLESTON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – The National Negro Golf Association is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a multi-day golf tournament at the Wescott Plantation in Charleston.
Hosted by the Philadelphia Chapter of the organization, more than 90 members from all over the country came to catch up with old friends and compete against each other in a summer tournament. Golfers came from Atlanta, Cleveland, New York, Philadelphia, Richmond and Washington D.C. to enjoy a weekend of fun, camaraderie and golfing.
The event began on July 17 and is ending tonight with a banquet. All of the participants range in age and skill levels…
