HOLLYWOOD, S.C. (WCSC) – A man is facing charges in connection to his alleged involvement in a head-on crash that trapped a woman in the car she was driving and severely broke her leg.
Jarone Lamar Washington, 37, of Adams Run, is charged with felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury.
Deputies of the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Washington early Monday after a crash that happened around 1:50 a.m., an affidavit states.
That court document details the incident, in which, while in the area of Highway 165 and Caddin Road in Hollywood, Washington is accused of driving while under the influence of alcohol. This caused him to veer left of center on the roadway, hitting another car head on, the document states…
