SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Monday will again be a Weather Aware day due to dangerous heat expected across the Coastal Empire & Lowcountry.
High temperatures achieved upper-90s for much of the area, with heat indices occasionally exceeding 110°F across a lot of the immediate coastal locations.
Temperatures tonight will struggle to fall below 80° and it will feel like the 90s shortly after sunrise.
As far as the heat alerts go, an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect for all of Beaufort, Jasper and Chatham County along with coastal portions of Bryan, Liberty, and Chatham County through 8 PM Monday…
