North Charleston crews respond to welding workshop fire

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Fire officials are investigating what caused a welding workshop to be aflame in North Charleston Monday morning.

Crews responded to the 7500 block of Tedder Street around 10:35 a.m. for reports of a structure fire.

Deputy Fire Chief Christan Rainey said they found a 30×30 welding workshop, detached from a home, that had caught fire.

There has been no word regarding if anyone was inside the building at the time of that fire or if there were any related injuries…
