BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — Thirty-two schools in Berkeley County will offer students no-cost breakfast and lunches this school year, thanks to a federal program.
The Berkeley County School District will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2025-2026 school year, which is a federally funded initiative that uses data from Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) enrollment and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) applications to identify qualifying communities.
