Teachers Supply Closet nonprofit celebrates grand opening of new North Charleston location

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Teachers Supply Closet, a nonprofit that helps equip teachers across over 70 schools in the Tri-county area with school supplies, celebrated the grand opening of a new location in North Charleston Tuesday.

North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess spoke and was there to hold the scissors at the ribbon cutting.

“This moment marks a new chapter in empowering educators and uplifting students,” said Executive Director Lynette V. Duggins. “Our new location will help us serve more teachers with dignity and care, because we know that when teachers are equipped, students succeed.”…
