NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Summerville man was arrested for allegedly possessing a stolen gun, the North Charleston Police Department announced Tuesday.
18-year-old James Jerome Jenkins was taken into custody after a firearm in his backpack was found to have been reported stolen through the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, NCPD said.
Officers originally responded to the area of the Pepperhill community on Saturday after a 911 caller reported several men breaking into cars.
