CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston remains a popular travel destination, well-known for its scenery and history, but in recent years, it has become a known location in TV shows and movies.

Blockbusters like “The Notebook” and “Patriot” and small screen favorites such as “Army Wives,” “The Righteous Gemstones,” and “Outer Banks” feature the Lowcountry as a backdrop for some iconic scenes. Along with some reality TV shows like “Southern Charm,” and “Southern Hospitality.” Now, casting is underway for Netflix’s “Love Is Blind.”
