CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – As a cold front passes through the Lowcountry overnight, we’re watching for an increase in rain chances and a risk for localized flooding into the weekend!
Through 2 AM Saturday, an ongoing complex of heavy thunderstorms will continue to track southeastward across the region. Torrential rainfall, frequent lightning and isolated strong wind gusts are the primary hazards for areas east of I-95.
By daybreak Saturday, most of our activity should be to our south as the aforementioned front shifts into Georgia. Isolated showers are possible for much of the morning with low temperatures expected to fall into the low to mid 70s…
