NCPD reminds residents to lock vehicles amid seasonal rise in auto break-ins

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Between June and July of 2025, the North Charleston Police Department reported 155 auto break-ins and entering cases.

While police say that number is not alarming for the city’s size, it serves as a good reminder for people to stay vigilant.
