BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A Berkeley County deputy collapsed after coming into contact with a fentanyl-like substance during a routine stop, raising urgent concerns about the safety of handling such drugs.
The incident, captured on body camera, showed the deputy being administered Narcan after touching an unknown substance on a dollar bill, which was later tested for fentanyl.
