FORECAST: A big pattern shift is coming, so we are going from hot and mainly dry to cooler and wetter for the weekend! Our Next Weather Maker, a cold front, will move in overnight and then stall offshore over the weekend, which means unsettled weather through at least the first part of next week. Expect to dodge showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain at times, which could result in some flash flooding.
