CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The beginning of August is typically one of the hottest weeks of the year in the Lowcountry of South Carolina! Not this year. A stalled front to our south will bring us our sixth straight day of below average temperatures and our sixth straight day failing to reach 90°.
Look for lots of clouds this evening and tonight with some spotty showers possible and temps in the 70’s overnight.
This unsettled pattern looks to continue into the weekend. There are some signs that this pattern may finally break down by the middle of next week. Until then, below average temperatures and a daily chance of rain will continue…
