MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – After many debates and deferrals, the Town of Mount Pleasant denied a redevelopment plan that would have added hundreds of housing, apartment and office units at Towne Centre.
Council members say the decision needs a lot more time to find a reasonable solution. Many residents spoke against the plan, saying they don’t want the development, which would add more density and traffic to the area.
