Dockside owners reject repairs in key procedural vote, likely sale process moves forward

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Dockside Condominiums owners voted on Thursday not to repair the Dockside condo tower, which was originally deemed unlivable by the City of Charleston in February.

“The city’s sudden evacuation order took us all by surprise, and we empathize with our neighbors in both the town and townhomes who have been dealing with these extremely challenging circumstances over the last several months,” the Dockside Board of Directors said in a statement.
