Nick Overstreet, former City Manager of Vidalia, passed away suddenly on August 13 in Charleston, South Carolina at age 46.
Nick served as the City Manager from January 2016 until October 2023. Although his current position was in Baxley, he and his family maintained their residency in Vidalia where Nick was a member of the Vidalia Rotary Club.
The City of Vidalia has issued a public statement extending heartfelt condolences to Nick’s family and friends, and says “the contributions, service and sacrifice that Mr. Overstreet made in and for our community will always be remembered with profound appreciation and gratitude.”…
