Santee murder suspect turns himself in after public warning

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — A man wanted in connection with a murder in Santee has been arrested after turning himself in in North Charleston.

The North Charleston Police Department said 20-year-old Zaquan Shaquez Jamison called dispatchers, identified himself and announced he wished to turn himself in on outstanding warrants. He was arrested after walking out of an Evanston Boulevard home. From there, he was taken to Al Cannon Detention Center before being taken into custody by the Santee Police Department.

Santee Police Chief Kevin Borghi identified the suspect on Thursday and said he is facing one count of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder, along with a charge for possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime…
