Eligible Tri-County residents to receive utility bill assistance at event

PINEVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) – South Carolinians are expected to face utility bill hikes over the next decade, but a Lowcountry nonprofit is stepping up to offer immediate financial relief to residents.

South Carolina is projected to see the second-largest increase in residential electricity bills nationwide, according to a July report from Energy Innovation Policy and Technology LLC, a nonpartisan think tank.
