Flooding washes out portion of Bears Bluff Road on Wadmalaw Island

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Flooding caused a roadway on Wadmalaw Island to washout.

St. John’s Fire District said the washout is impacting Bears Bluff Road near the split for Maybank Highway.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is expected to respond to the scene and make repairs.
