CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Charleston Housing Authority has fully repaired issues in at least one of its units after a Live 5 investigation looked into complaints about its conditions.
Charleston Housing Authority Chief Operating Officer Alex McFarlane says the issues detailed in Monday’s story on continuing conditions and maintenance wait times, plus the units shown in March’s story on inconsistent inspection reports have been fully rectified.
The tenants who were contacted claim they reported the issues, like leaks, alleged mold and collapsed ceilings to the Charleston Housing Authority months, or even years ago…
