CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The International African American Museum hosted a free Labor Day event called Vibes on the Yard for the whole family that included free admission into the museum itself.
The Black Effect Podcast Network and Charlamagne Tha God sponsored free admission to the museum on Labor Day, starting at noon.
“It’s feeding our culture. We’re feeding our children about us. So, we can grow and not forget and learn from it,” Anna Freeman said. “And the only way we can do that is if we continue to embrace our museums, our music, our churches. If we don’t, it gets lost. And then it gets its own narrative by someone else.”…
