BERKELEY, S.C. (WCBD) — Berkeley County deputies handed out more than 120 traffic citations and arrested five people for drunk driving while patrolling over Labor Day weekend, according to data provided by the sheriff’s office.
The agency conducted an enforcement operation from August 29 through September 1, focused on curbing unsafe behaviors, including impaired and reckless driving.
