Coward, SC – An 18-year-old Summerville man and three juveniles have been arrested in connection with an alleged assault in Florence County earlier this week.
According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were contacted on Monday by the family of a victim who was reportedly attacked on Durango Road in Coward on Sunday between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Authorities said a video of the incident was later posted on social media.
Investigators allege Jaylen McKenzie Koon, 18, and the three juveniles planned and carried out the assault, which resulted in minor injuries to the victim. Koon was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with third-degree Assault by Mob. The three juveniles have also been charged in the case…
