Inmate accused of using contraband cellphone to orchestrate Gullah Avenue killing

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A man serving time in federal prison was arrested last month after North Charleston police said he orchestrated a killing from behind bars.

Darrell Kasey Williams, 33, was an inmate at a federal prison in Bennettsville, South Carolina, when investigators said he used a contraband cell phone to hire and pay Quinton Taylor to carry out the May 6, 2020, murder of De’Andre Rivers.
