CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The U.S. Coast Guard said it stopped an illegal charter carrying passengers on the Wando River this week.
The 26-foot vessel was operating as a bareboat charter but did not have a valid agreement and had “too many people onboard” to be an uninspected passenger vessel, according to a September 5 post on the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Charleston Facebook page.
