At 5:10 pm on Friday, the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a child who was struck by a pickup truck.
According to the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, the initial call to dispatch was made by an off-duty Cloquet Police Department Patrol Officer. The officer immediately began to aid the victim and coordinate the response to the crash scene.
Life-saving measures were continued as Carlton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, as well as additional fire, medical, and law enforcement resources from the Wrenshall Fire Department, Carlton Fire & Ambulance, Cloquet Area Fire Department, Pine County Sheriff’s Office, and the Minnesota State Patrol, arrived at the scene…
