JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) – SC250 Charleston and the South Carolina Battleground Preservation Trust, in partnership with the South Carolina American Revolution Sesquicentennial Commission, hosted a flag-raising ceremony to honor the raising of the first South Carolina Flag.
The flag was first raised back in 1775, marking its 250th anniversary Saturday.
