(WPDE) — The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) is holding a two-part public meeting on Sept. 23 to get the public’s input on managing the red drum population.
In 2024, the commission released its regional red drum stock assessment showing that the species population declined and that a reduction in harvests is needed to assist in rebuilding.
